All the Way Boys

Two pilots working the South American jungle take on a job that goes wrong when their aircraft crashes for real, leaving them stranded among diamond miners dominated by a local boss. The men who control the mine set the prices, run the only supply store and own the only plane, keeping the miners under their thumb. The two newcomers side with the miners.

The film is a comedy adventure directed by Giuseppe Colizzi, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Barbara Alberti and Amedeo Pagani. It is the fourth film he directed, following God Forgives... I Don't! in 1967, Ace High in 1968 and Boot Hill in 1969. Terence Hill and Bud Spencer lead as Plata and Salud, with Reinhard Kolldehoff as Mr. Ears. Riccardo Pizzuti, Marcello Verziera and Cyril Cusack round out the main cast, and Italo Zingarelli produced the Italian production from Delta and Tiger Film.

Released at the end of 1972, the film runs 120 minutes and blends action and adventure with comedy. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.6/10 from around 8,200 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.8/10 from 438 votes. Both figures are moderate and consistent with each other, suggesting an audience that regards the film as a solid example of the genre rather than an outstanding one.
