The Last Footage

A group of friends visiting a secluded cabin in the woods face two supernatural threats after a young boy vanishes. A bloody ritual brings back the child of a witch, while a summoning attempt via the dark web awakens an ancient predator. The survivors must fight for their lives in a struggle recorded entirely through a pair of camera glasses. This production is noted as the first found-footage horror film from Myanmar.

Written and directed by Arkar Soe Oo, the film follows his previous work on Their House, The Obsession, and 1994. The cast features Kyaw Kyaw Bo, Charlie Nyein, Swam Htet Aung, and Thiha Tin Aung Soe, with Arkar Soe Oo and producer Li Li Kyaw Khaing also appearing in acting roles. The movie had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival 2026 and was released on July 27, 2026, with a runtime of 88 minutes.
