Set during a 1982 attempted coup in Kenya, this historical thriller follows a radio announcer who is coerced at gunpoint into proclaiming that his government has collapsed. As the conflict between political power and the truth unfolds over the airwaves, the broadcaster eventually uses his position to assist in restoring the previous administration.
The film was written and directed by James Ongige, who also served as a producer alongside Abraham Jalenga. It is the second film directed by Ongige in 2026, following the release of No Exit. The production was handled by Lohkast Pictures and Lohkast Records in Kenya. The cast features Adrian Opiyo in the role of Leonard Mambo Mbotela, Maxwel Thocho as Hezekiah Ochuka, and Kasongo Muyangu as Mbotela's wife. Other roles include James Junior Omare as Wainaina, Philip Macharia as Major General Mahamoud Mohamed, and Alex Nyanzi as a rebel soldier. The movie has a runtime of 46 minutes and was released on July 16, 2026.
