Sinking Road

After an unidentified attacker pushes her into the water to drown, Dotty Duette finds herself on a magical golden path. This road pulls her down into a submerged location known as Sinking Road Village. While there, she encounters various personifications of Buddhist precepts. Some of these beings are welcoming and make her feel comfortable until the golden road returns for her, while others, specifically the first precept, are hostile and seek to kill her.

This Swedish animated production was written and directed by Moa Olsson, who also provided the voice for Stagefrighter Goldilocks. The voice cast includes Nola Klop as the protagonist Dotty Duette, alongside Luke de Ayora, Andrew Hamblin, Daniel Adams, and Meghan McConnell. Produced by PoundToundHound, the film blends elements of adventure, comedy, fantasy, and science fiction into a 57-minute runtime. The movie was released on July 22, 2026.
