A wealthy and entitled teenager from the city looks forward to an extravagant sixteenth birthday celebration and a new car. However, her plans change abruptly when she is deceived and sent to spend her summer break in a rural village. While adjusting to this new environment and learning humility, she uses her assertive personality to benefit the local community and undergo a process of self-discovery.
