Mercy

A mother and her two sons move into an old farmhouse to care for their ailing grandmother, Mercy. While there, the children uncover a hidden book of black magic and realize their grandmother is linked to a dark pact and a family curse. As supernatural events begin to occur, the family must face a terrifying reality regarding the true nature of their relative to survive.

This horror thriller was directed by Peter Cornwell, following his work on The Haunting in Connecticut. The film was produced by Blumhouse Productions, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, with a screenplay by Matt Greenberg. The cast features Shirley Knight in the title role, alongside Frances O'Connor, Mark Duplass, Chandler Riggs, Joel Courtney, and Dylan McDermott.
