The Death of the Incredible Hulk

Dr. David Banner has spent years trying to rid himself of the condition that turns him into the Hulk whenever anger or stress takes hold. Disguised as a janitor, he secretly works alongside the researcher Dr. Ronald Pratt, who is developing a formula that could finally free him. When Pratt discovers Banner's secret, he agrees to help, and the two men come close to a cure. Their work draws the attention of Jasmine, a spy stealing Pratt's research for a group of terrorists, and Banner finds himself caught between his feelings for her and the danger she represents.

The film is a television movie directed by Bill Bixby, who also plays Banner, and it follows his two earlier Hulk television films, The Incredible Hulk Returns and The Trial of the Incredible Hulk. Lou Ferrigno returns as the Hulk, with Elizabeth Gracen, Philip Sterling, Barbara Tarbuck and Anna Katarina among the credited cast of twenty-two. Gerald Di Pego wrote the screenplay.

Released in February 1990, the film runs 95 minutes and was produced by New World Television. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.7 from around 2,800 votes, and on TMDB 5.8 from about 120 votes, suggesting a modest but steady following. A critics' rating of 3.7 from five reviews sits below those audience scores.
