Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation

Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation follows two young bears, True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse, who are named guardians by the Great Wishing Star and take charge of a group of orphaned bear cubs. The villain Dark Heart threatens them, and when the story moves to a summer camp on Earth, he persuades a lonely girl named Christy to help him capture the cubs. Two unhappy campers, John and Dawn, become involved as well. The film is an animated family adventure directed by Dale Schott from a screenplay by Peter Sauder, produced by Michael Hirsh, Patrick Loubert and Clive A. Smith, and made by Nelvana with Columbia Pictures, American Greetings and Those Characters From Cleveland. It runs 76 minutes.

The voice cast includes Hadley Kay as Dark Heart and the boy, Chris Wiggins as the Great Wishing Star, Cree Summer as Christy, Alyson Court as Dawn, Michael Fantini as John and Sunny Besen Thrasher as Camp Champ, with 21 credited performers in total.
