Raid

A former criminal and drifter named Raid returns to Finland after spending a significant amount of time abroad. He discovers that his former partner, Tarja, has likely perished in a fire that he suspects was actually an act of arson committed for theft. At the same time, Raid is approached by Inspector Jansson, an acquaintance from his past, regarding the killing of a protester. As Raid conducts his own investigation into these events, he finds that the circumstances are more complex than they first appeared.

This crime thriller was directed by Tapio Piirainen, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Harri Nykänen. The film stars Kai Lehtinen in the title role alongside Mari Rantasila and Oiva Lohtander.
