Boycott

Set in Alabama during the 1950s, this drama depicts the civil rights struggle against racial segregation. The story begins when Rosa Parks is arrested for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. This event prompts civil rights activists and a liberal priest, Martin Luther King Jr., to organize a boycott of the public transit system. The movement lasts for over a year and eventually leads to the end of segregation on public transportation.
