Melba May is a girl living in a California trailer park who receives a prediction from a psychic over the phone to find three kings. After meeting three men named Trent, Brad, and Joel who are heading toward Las Vegas, she concludes they are the figures from the prophecy and joins them on their journey.

The comedy-drama was directed by Darren Stein, marking the first of three films he directed, followed by Jawbreaker and G.B.F. Stein also co-wrote the screenplay with Catherine Eads.
