Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale

Barbie and her sisters head to a riding academy in the Swiss Alps, where the girls plan to spend their summer around horses. Skipper would rather write about what she sees than take part, Stacie wants to prove herself as a rider, and Chelsea dreams of riding the biggest horses she can find. Barbie is looking forward to finding a horse of her own, and when she comes across a mysterious wild horse in the forest, the sisters' trip takes a turn they did not expect.

The film, released in 2013, is directed by Kyran Kelly from a screenplay by Steve Granat and Cydne Clark, with Michelle Cogan producing. Kelly Sheridan once again voices Barbie, joined by Kazumi Evans, Claire Margaret Corlett, Ashlyn Drummond, Alex Kelly and Tabitha St. Germain. It is a 72-minute animated family film produced in the United States by Mattel, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Arc Productions, part of the series of Barbie movies built around her and her sisters.

Audience responses place it in modest but positive territory: on IMDb it holds 6.1/10 from around 1,800 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7/10 from roughly 200 votes.
