Oh Mal-soon is a sharp-tongued 74-year-old widow living with her son's family, where her constant complaining has worn everyone down. When the household decides to send her to a retirement home, she wanders the streets in distress and stops at an odd photography studio, where the photographer claims he can capture the moment of her youth. She walks out to find herself transformed, her body back at 20 while her memories and manner remain those of an old woman. Assuming the name Oh Doo-ri, she embraces her second youth, but her new life keeps pulling her back toward the family that cast her aside, and toward people who have no idea who she really is.
Hwang Dong-hyuk directed the film, his second feature after Silenced, with a screenplay by Shin Dong-ik, Hong Yoon-jeong and Dong Hee-sun. Shim Eun-kyung plays the younger Mal-soon, with Na Moon-hee as the older version, alongside Lee Jin-uk, Jung Jin-young, Park In-hwan and Sung Dong-il in a credited cast of 32. Made for about 3 million USD, it took roughly 57 million USD worldwide, a substantial return on its budget. It holds a 7.2/10 on IMDb from around 4,700 votes and a 7.3/10 on TMDB from 126 votes, while a film critics' rating of 8.7/10 from six reviews places professional assessment noticeably higher than general audience scores.
