Nick Barrow is a specialist in planning robberies for the highest bidder, but a failed project leaves him targeted by mob bosses, contract killers, and corrupt police. Seeking to provide for his estranged daughter, Nick takes out a million-dollar life insurance policy. However, the policy only becomes active after 21 days, forcing him to evade his numerous enemies and survive for three weeks to ensure his daughter receives the money.

The film was directed by Peter Billingsley, following his 2009 work Couples Retreat. It features a cast led by Vince Vaughn as Nick Barrow and Hailee Steinfeld as his daughter, Cate. The supporting cast includes Bill Paxton, Jonathan Banks, Mike Epps, and Jordi Mollà. Produced by PalmStar Media, WWE Studios, and PenLife Media, the project had a budget of 17 million USD.

Audience reception was mixed, with the film earning a 5.6/10 rating on IMDb from 9,000 votes and a 6/10 on TMDB from 330 votes. These viewer scores are notably higher than the rating from film critics, which stands at 2.1/10 based on 7 reviews.
