Beneath

Beneath is a horror film inspired by true events. The story follows a group of coal miners who are trapped deep underground after a catastrophic collapse. As they wait for rescue in a confined space, the air becomes toxic and oxygen supplies dwindle. The combination of environmental stress and isolation leads the survivors to descend into madness, causing them to turn on one another.

Directed by Ben Ketai, this production followed his 2010 film 30 Days of Night: Dark Days and preceded River Wild in 2023. The screenplay was written by Patrick J. Doody and Chris Valenziano, with Nick Phillips and Kelly Wagner serving as producers. The cast features Jeff Fahey, Kelly Noonan, Brent Briscoe, Kurt Caceres, Eric Etebari, and Joey Kern. Produced in the United States by Revolver Picture Company and Elevative Entertainment, the movie has a runtime of 89 minutes.
