This animated family film is a collection of holiday stories featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. The plot follows the characters as they search for the missing winter season, attempt to organize a complicated Thanksgiving dinner, and receive a surprise visit from a new friend. The movie includes several songs.
Released in 1999, the film was produced by Disney Television Animation and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. It was co-directed by Karl Geurs, Jun Falkenstein, Ed Wexler, and Gary Katona. This project followed Geurs' 1997 film Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin. For Falkenstein, it arrived the same year as Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and preceded The Tigger Movie in 2000. It served as the first directed work for both Wexler and Katona, who later collaborated on Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year in 2002. The voice cast includes Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Gregg Berger as Eeyore, Nikita Hopkins as Roo, and Brady Bluhm as Christopher Robin.
The film has a runtime of 70 minutes. It is generally well-received by audiences, holding a rating of 6.7/10 on IMDb based on 1,800 votes and a 6.6/10 on TMDB from 100 votes.
