Short description
Wayne gets a new rookie partner, Lanny, after his previous partner got the promotion he wanted. Lanny has to remind Wayne of the Spirit of Christmas and the importance of being an elf in Santa's Prep and Landing elite unit.
What's left behind the scenes
- The animated model of the German Shepherd that the elves deal with at the very beginning is the same one used in the 2008 film 'Bolt'. They differ only in color.
- In one scene, the Christmas tree from Bill Melendez's 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' (1965) appears on screen. Even the needles fall off in the same order and with the same sound as in Melendez's film.
- The short hairstyle of the elf voiced by Sarah Choke was modeled after the hairstyle of producer Dorothy McKim, daughter-in-law of the legendary artist Sammy McKim (1924-2004).
