Short description

An Irish sports journalist becomes convinced that Lance Armstrong's performances during the Tour de France victories are fueled by banned substances. With this conviction, he starts hunting for evidence that will expose Armstrong.

What's left behind the scenes

The film is based on the book by David Walsh, «Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong» (2012).
In preparation for the role, Ben Foster took stimulants under medical supervision.
According to director Steven Frears, he cast French actor Guillaume Canet, who barely speaks English, in the role of the Italian doctor because he couldn't find an Italian actor who spoke English.
