Mr. Pig

An aging farmer facing the loss of his farm travels from the United States to Mexico. He brings along his prized pig to sell the animal and reconnect with former friends. During the journey, he is joined by his estranged daughter. Together, they navigate a road trip that forces them to confront their shared history and attempt to repair their broken relationship.

The drama was directed by Diego Luna, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Augusto Mendoza. This was the first of two films directed by Luna, preceding Ashes.
