Short description
In a post-apocalyptic desert where water has become the most valuable thing left, a wandering warrior called Nomad arrives at a small settlement. The community lives under constant threat from a gang led by Damnil, who wants to seize control of the water supply held by a woman named Kasha and her young son. Nomad takes their side against the bandits, setting up a conflict over the well and the settlement's survival. Patrick Swayze plays Nomad, with Lisa Niemi as Kasha and Anthony Zerbe as Damnil. Doug Lefler wrote the screenplay, and Lance Hool directed; Conrad Hool and Lance Hool produced. The supporting cast includes Christopher Neame, Brion James and Arnold Vosloo.
The film was released in November 1987 and runs 97 minutes. It was made for about 4 million dollars by Silver Lion Films, Vestron Pictures, Toron Screen Corporation and Independent Film Centre. It sits between two other features directed by Lance Hool, Missing in Action 2: The Beginning and 2 Hearts, with a long gap on either side of it.
