The Remaining

The Remaining is a 2014 American horror thriller about a group of close friends who gather for the wedding of Skylar and Dan. Their celebration is interrupted by a series of catastrophic events tied to biblical prophecies, and the survivors are forced to fight for their lives as chaos spreads around them. The film was directed by Casey La Scala, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Dowling and produced alongside Brad Luff and Marc Bienstock. It was La Scala's second feature as director, following Grind in 2003.

The cast includes Alexa PenaVega as Skylar, Johnny Pacar as Tommy, Shaun Sipos as Jack, Italia Ricci as Allison, Bryan Dechart as Dan and Liz E. Morgan as Sam. The production involved 64 credited crew members and was made by Sunrise Pictures, Affirm Films, Cinematic and Baron Films. The film runs 88 minutes and took about 2 million dollars at the worldwide box office.
