Phoenix

Harry Collins is a police officer in Phoenix, Arizona, who struggles with a severe gambling addiction. To pay off his mounting debts, Harry organizes a scheme with fellow officers to rob a local club owner and loan shark. The plan descends into violence, leaving Harry in a precarious position where he cannot trust his associates. Amidst the conflict, his relationship with a bar owner named Leila represents a potential path toward redemption.

The film was directed by Danny Cannon, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Eddie Richey. Within Cannon's career, this project followed Judge Dredd and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, and preceded Goal!.
