Short description
A viral epidemic has spread across the United States, and those infected are doomed to transform into zombies within weeks. Maggie Vogel, a sixteen-year-old, is bitten and infected. Rather than let her be taken into quarantine, her father Wade, a farmer, brings her home and stays with her through the time she has left, even as the authorities close in and her condition steadily worsens. The film follows Wade's determination to protect his daughter while accepting what is happening to her.
