Wolfhound

Colum Kennedy travels with his family to a village in Ireland to see where their ancestors came from. He soon discovers that the community is made up of shape-shifters who can take animal form. Colum becomes drawn to a woman who can turn into a wolf, leaving him to decide between his family and giving in to the attraction.

The film is a horror-thriller directed by Jim Wynorski, working from a screenplay by Scott Bradfield, with Amy J. Russell as producer. It was made in Ireland and the United States by Transpacific Corp. and Califilm, and runs 80 minutes. It is the twelfth of 22 films Wynorski directed in chronological order, coming between Poison in 2001 and Treasure Hunt in 2003. Allen Scotti plays Colum Kennedy, with Jennifer Courtney as Stella Kennedy, Julie Lynn Cialini as Siobahn, Brian Monahan as Macroth, Samantha Keaveney as Sally Kennedy and Jack Dunne as Michael Kennedy.

Released in August 2002, the film drew little enthusiasm. On IMDb it holds a rating of 3.5 out of 10 from 347 votes, and on TMDB it stands at 3.8 out of 10 from 11 votes. Both figures point to a small audience and a widely unfavourable response.
