Short description

In 1955, young photographer Dennis Stock develops a close bond with actor James Dean while shooting pictures of the rising Hollywood star.

The film's release was intended to coincide with the sixtieth anniversary of James Dean's death.
Dane DeHaan refused to play James Dean (1931-1955) five times, not feeling up to the task of portraying such a character. He was persuaded to accept the role by his wife, Anna Wood.
