Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire

Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang travel to Australia for a vacation, planning to take in a music festival held at a rock formation known as Vampire Rock. Their plans change when performers at the concert begin disappearing. A legendary Australian creature called the Yowie Yahoo is said to be responsible, and the missing musicians are reportedly being turned into vampires. To investigate, the gang goes undercover as a heavy metal band, and they find themselves up against a trio of vampire musicians as they try to solve the mystery behind the vampire legend.

The film is an animated mystery directed by Scott Jeralds, written by Mark Turosz, and produced by Jeralds with Margaret M. Dean for Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Productions. It runs 72 minutes. Jeralds directed it between Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico and Scooby-Doo! and the Loch Ness Monster, both released in the same period. The voice cast includes Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred, Casey Kasem as Shaggy, Heather North as Daphne, Nicole Jaffe as Velma, with Jane Wiedlin and Jennifer Hale among the supporting voices.
