Homesick

Homesick is a Norwegian drama centered on the relationship between Charlotte and her half-brother Henrik. After spending their lives without a traditional family structure, the two meet for the first time as adults in Oslo. Their attempt to build a familial bond quickly evolves into a boundary-breaking connection characterized by sexual tension and a desire to create their own version of a family, regardless of social rules.

The film was directed by Anne Sewitsky, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Ragnhild Tronvoll. It features Ine Marie Wilmann as Charlotte and Simon J. Berger as Henrik, with a supporting cast that includes Silje Storstein, Anneke von der Lippe, Oddgeir Thune, and Kari Onstad Winge. Produced by Maipo Film, the project had a budget of 20 million USD.
