Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein

Alvin, Simon and Theodore are performing at an amusement park, Majestic Movie Studios, when Alvin's reckless turn driving a tour bus makes them miss their next show and leaves them locked inside the park after closing. The park is also home to a new attraction, Frankenstein's Castle, where a real Dr. Frankenstein has been hired. Deciding the castle needs more scares, he brings his Monster to life, and the Chipmunks soon run into the creature, leading to a wild adventure.

The film is a 1999 animated family comedy directed by Kathi Castillo, who also produced it, from a screenplay by John Loy. It was her first directing credit, followed a year later by Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman. The voice cast includes Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. as Alvin, Simon and Dave, Janice Karman as Theodore, Michael Bell as Dr. Frankenstein and Dee Bradley Baker as the Tour Guide. It was produced by Universal Pictures, Bagdasarian Productions and Universal Cartoon Studios.

At 78 minutes, it is a short feature aimed at a young audience, blending the Chipmunks' usual comedy with a Halloween-flavored monster story.
