An FBI agent goes undercover in rural America to investigate the murder of a controversial Chicago radio host. Posing as a farm worker, she grows close to a widowed local man and begins a relationship with him, even as evidence points toward him and the white supremacist circles he moves in. The closer she gets to the man she has come to care for, the more she must weigh her feelings against the job she was sent to do.
