The Measure of a Man

The Measure of a Man follows Thierry, a 51-year-old man who finds employment as a security guard in a supermarket after a long period of unemployment. His new role requires him to monitor both customers and coworkers to report thefts and misconduct. This position creates a conflict between his personal principles and the requirements of his employer, forcing him to decide how much he is willing to compromise to maintain his financial stability.

Directed by Stéphane Brizé, this drama is the second film in a series of works that include Mademoiselle Chambon and A Woman's Life. The screenplay was written by Brizé and Olivier Gorce.
