NOIR is a drama set in a neighborhood struggling with violence and poverty. The story follows four residents as they seek happiness and freedom. Kadhafi is a former gang member and aspiring rapper who wants to avoid trouble after his release from prison. Fleur, a young Haitian mother, hopes to become a nurse and escape the ghetto while dealing with an abusive relationship. Suzie, a stripper, falls in love with a gang member, and Dickens, a Haitian teenager, strives to join the street gang led by his older brother.
The film was directed by Yves Christian Fournier and written by Jean-Hervé Désiré. The cast features Salim Kéchiouche, Julie Djiezion, Jade-Mariuka Robitaille, Kémy St-Éloy, Éphraïm Ndombasi, and Christopher L. Massena. Produced by Nicole Robert through GO Films, this Canadian production has a runtime of 110 minutes.
