Short description
A squad of unsuspecting cops go through a trapdoor to Hell when they stumble upon a Black Mass in an abandoned building.
What's left behind the scenes
- The character of the Father is modeled after Colonel Kurtz from Francis Ford Coppola's film 'Apocalypse Now' (1979).
- Director Jan Everenol stated that he drew inspiration for the image of the Father from the films 'Quest for Fire' (Jean-Jacques Annaud, 1981), 'The Descent' (Neil Marshall, 2005), and 'Frontier' (Xavier Gans, 2007). He was also greatly influenced by Nicolas Winding Refn's thriller 'Only God Forgives' (2013).
- The film was shot in 28 nights.
- According to director Jan Everenol, the most difficult part was filming underwater when Arda fell into the river. Nearly half a night was spent filming this short episode.
- The actor who played the Father has a rather rare skin condition. This was exactly the kind of look director Jan Everenol was searching for, and he cast the actor in the role immediately.
