Goon: Last of the Enforcers

Doug Glatt, a hockey player valued for his fists rather than his skating, has left the ice behind. He is married to Eva, who is expecting their child, and has settled into a dull office job selling insurance. When the Halifax Highlanders come under new ownership and his old rival Anders Cain is named team captain, Doug is drawn back to the game, even though returning puts strain on his marriage and his health.

Jay Baruchel directed the film and wrote the screenplay with Jesse Chabot, and also produced it alongside André Rouleau and David Gross. It continues the story that began in Goon, with Seann William Scott returning as Doug and Alison Pill as Eva. Marc-André Grondin, Wyatt Russell and Callum Keith Rennie appear alongside them, and Liev Schreiber returns as Ross Rhea. Around forty actors and forty-five crew members are credited.

Released in March 2017, the film runs 101 minutes. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5.7 out of 10 from 366 votes, while a critics' rating of 5 out of 10 from 63 reviews places it close to the audience score, with neither group rating it highly. The comedy was produced in Canada and the United States by Taurus Film, Caramel Films and No Trace Camping.
