Chronic

Chronic is a drama about David, a dedicated nurse who provides care for terminally ill patients. While he is professional and forms deep emotional connections with those under his care, he struggles with a reserved and awkward private life. He finds himself depending on his patients for emotional support just as much as they rely on his medical assistance.

The film was written and directed by Michel Franco, following his 2009 project Daniel & Ana. Tim Roth stars in the lead role as David, supported by a cast that includes Sarah Sutherland, Robin Bartlett, Rachel Pickup, Michael Cristofer, and David Dastmalchian. This production was a collaboration between Mexico and France, produced by Stromboli Films and Vamonos Films.

The movie has received generally positive but mixed responses from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 6.6/10 based on 3,800 votes, while on TMDB it has a lower score of 5.8/10 from 78 votes.
