Yuri Boyka is a fighter working his way toward the top tier of the sport when a fatal accident in the ring forces him to reconsider everything he has built his life around. Learning that the dead man's wife has fallen into danger, he offers to compete in a string of punishing bouts to buy her freedom from the man holding her in servitude. The arrangement draws him back into the ring against opponents far more dangerous than anything he has faced before.
The film is the fourth entry in the Undisputed series and was directed by Todor Chapkanov, arriving after a run of television and low-budget genre features that included Monsterwolf, Miami Magma, True Bloodthirst and Viking Quest. Scott Adkins returns as Boyka, with Teodora Duhovnikova as Alma, Alon Abutbul as Zourab, Julian Vergov as Slava, and Martyn Ford and Brahim Achabbakhe among the fighters. David N. White and Tony Mosher wrote the screenplay, and the production was mounted in Bulgaria with American backing.
Released in 2016 and running 87 minutes, the film sits comfortably with its franchise predecessors rather than reaching beyond them. On IMDb it holds a 6.9 rating from roughly 34,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 7.2 from about 1,500 votes — a modest but consistent response from viewers who came for the fighting.
