The Swindle

Augusto is an older, small-time con artist who operates in and around Rome with two younger partners, Roberto and Carlo, who is known as Picasso. The trio makes a living by deceiving gullible people with elaborate stories. Their criminal lifestyle is disrupted by personal conflicts, including the departure of one partner and Augusto's complicated relationship with his daughter. As Augusto attempts further scams with new accomplices to provide for his child, his shifting conscience and greed lead to a series of failures and tensions with his fellow swindlers.
