Batman: Bad Blood

Batman: Bad Blood begins with Batman's disappearance from Gotham City, leaving his allies to keep order and work out what happened to him. Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne patrol in his place while Alfred Pennyworth goes undercover, and Batwoman, a recent arrival who may have been among the last to see Bruce Wayne, joins them. Their search draws the group toward a larger conspiracy and a dangerous new figure.

Jay Oliva directed the film, the twelfth of the thirteen features he has directed in chronological order, following Batman vs. Robin and preceding Justice League Dark. J. M. DeMatteis wrote the screenplay. Jason O'Mara voices Bruce Wayne, with Yvonne Strahovski as Kathy Kane, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, Sean Maher as Dick Grayson, Morena Baccarin as Talia al Ghul, and Steve Blum as Black Mask and Firefly. Twenty cast members and sixty-seven crew members are credited.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics on a budget of about four million dollars, the film runs seventy-four minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.7 from roughly twenty-eight thousand votes. On TMDB it scores 7 out of 10, though from a far smaller base of about a thousand votes, so that average rests on much thinner support than the IMDb figure.
