Special Agent Emmanuel Ritter investigates a massacre at a public school located on the border of Mexico and the United States. As he looks into the tragedy and other shocking killings, he discovers a connection to the ancient demon Belzebuth. Ritter must navigate a conflict between good and evil and confront his own nature to stop a series of infanticides and prevent the arrival of a dark force.
