The Shadow Effect

Gabriel Howarth lives a stable life until he begins experiencing vivid, violent dreams where he murders political figures. As these visions start to merge with his waking life, he seeks the help of Dr. Reese to determine if he is losing his mind or if he is being manipulated as a weapon for a secret government experiment. Gabriel must then fight to stop this dangerous program and protect his wife, Brinn, from the resulting threat.

The film was directed by Amariah Olson and Obin Olson, who previously collaborated on Unknown Caller in 2014 and Operator in 2015. The cast features Cam Gigandet as Gabriel, Brit Shaw as Brinn, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Reese, with Michael Biehn appearing as Sheriff Hodge. Produced by Status Media & Entertainment and DV3 Productions, the movie had a budget of 9 million USD.
