Anna and Will have been in a relationship for a decade, having experienced every romantic first together. As they approach the point of marriage, a suggestion from their social circle prompts them to reconsider their strict monogamy. To ensure they are making the right lifelong commitment, the couple agrees to open their relationship and pursue sexual encounters with other people. This decision leads Anna into a romance with a musician and Will into a relationship with a divorced woman.

The film was written and directed by Brian Crano, marking his second feature following Dog Food and preceding I Don't Understand You.
