Sun Dogs

Ned Chipley is a young man who wishes to fight terrorism but is repeatedly rejected by the Marines. After receiving advice from a naval officer to protect the home front, he takes the suggestion literally and begins spying on a casino manager he suspects of leading a terrorist network. Along the way, he recruits other young deserters and partners with a runaway named Tally to form an unconventional counter-terrorism team.

This adventure comedy drama was directed by Jennifer Morrison, who also appears in the cast as Marie. The film features Michael Angarano in the lead role, alongside Melissa Benoist, Ed O'Neill, Allison Janney, and Xzibit. It was a joint production between the United States and Mexico through Apartment 3C Productions and Fábrica de Cine, with a screenplay written by Anthony Tambakis.
