Wild Oats

Eva, a recent widow, receives an insurance settlement check that was mistakenly issued for five million dollars instead of the fifty thousand she expected. Encouraged by her best friend Maddie, she cashes the full amount and the two set off on an extravagant trip, flying first class to the Canary Islands and settling into luxury. Their spending spree soon draws unwanted attention, and the pair find themselves pursued over the money they were never meant to have.

Andy Tennant directed the film, which sits between The Bounty Hunter and The Secret: Dare to Dream in his filmography. The screenplay is by Claudia Myers and Gary Kanew.
