Pin

Pin is a Canadian horror thriller about two siblings, Leon and Ursula, raised by strict, emotionally distant parents. Their father, a university doctor, keeps a life-sized anatomical dummy named Pin in his office, and he uses it to teach the children about adult relationships. After the parents die in an accident, the grown Leon brings the dummy into the house he shares with Ursula, who is uncomfortable with its presence. Leon's attachment to Pin deepens until it shapes his behaviour toward his sister.

Sandor Stern wrote and directed the film, his third feature after Passions in 1984 and Assassin in 1986. It precedes Amityville: The Evil Escapes in his filmography. Rene Malo produced it through Image Organization, Lance Entertainment and Malofilm Communications. The cast includes David Hewlett as Leon, Cynthia Preston as Ursula, Jonathan Banks as the voice of Pin, Terry O'Quinn and Bronwen Mantel as the parents, and John Pyper-Ferguson as Stan Fraker, across 29 credited cast and 64 credited crew members. It runs 103 minutes.
