Clearcut

A lawyer named Peter Maguire takes on a case for an Indigenous community whose ancestral land is being stripped by a logging company. When the court rules against them and the cutting continues, Peter's belief that he understands the people he represented is tested by Arthur, a Shawnee traditionalist with a different idea of how to stop the destruction. Arthur takes the head of the timber operation captive and forces the lawyer along, and the three men end up struggling to survive in the Canadian wilderness.
