Final Score

Final Score follows Michael Knox, a former soldier who attends a football match at a large stadium. During the game, a group of heavily armed criminals seizes the venue and holds the crowd hostage, demanding a ransom. Knox, who is among the spectators, draws on his military training to confront the intruders alone. Complicating matters is the presence of the young daughter of a comrade who died in action; she is somewhere inside the stadium. The hostage takers also make direct threats against Knox, forcing him to act under pressure while thousands of unaware spectators remain in danger.

The film is directed by Scott Mann, whose earlier features were The Tournament and Heist, and who later directed Fall. Dave Bautista leads the cast as Knox, with Pierce Brosnan as Dimitri, Ray Stevenson as Arkady, Amit Shah as Faisal, Lara Peake as Danni and Alexandra Dinu as Tatiana. The screenplay is credited to Jonathan Frank, David T. Lynch and Keith Lynch, with Bautista among the producers.

Released in September 2018, the film had a budget of about 20 million dollars and took roughly 1 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.8 from nearly 14,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.1 from around 600 votes. A critics' score of 5.3 from 36 reviews places it slightly below the audience ratings.
