Plaza Suite

Plaza Suite is a comedy built from three separate stories, all unfolding in the same suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York, with Walter Matthau playing a different man in each. One sees a wife trying to reach her distracted husband as their marriage comes apart. Another follows an assertive film producer attempting to rekindle something with a woman he once knew. The third concerns parents trying to coax their daughter out of the bathroom before her wedding. The film adapts Neil Simon's play, which he also wrote for the screen, and Howard W. Koch produced it.
