Short description

News anchorwoman Cindy Campbell has to investigate mysterious crop circles and killing video tapes, and help the President stop an alien invasion in the process.

What's left behind the scenes

A commercial for the film featured a scene in which a fortune teller swings a frying pan at her husband. This episode was not included in the theatrical release.
A rather lengthy alternate ending was filmed, parodying "A Beautiful Mind", "Hulk", and "The Matrix Reloaded". However, it was ultimately rejected.
Jenny McCarthy starred in this film, having turned down a role in the first episode to participate in 'Scream 3' (2000).
Kevin Smith was offered to work on the screenplay for the film.
The working title of the film was "Scary Movie 3: Episode I — Lord of the Brooms".
Anthony Anderson's character was so well-received at test screenings that it was decided to urgently shoot additional scenes with his participation, even though the film was already in post-production.
The final line of Leslie Nielsen's character, 'I just want to wish you good luck, we're all counting on you!' appeared at the end of 'Airplane!' (1980), which was also directed by David Zucker.
