Pandora

A nuclear power plant in a quiet South Korean town suffers severe structural decay. After an earthquake triggers explosions and cooling system failures at the facility, the government and plant staff struggle to manage the emergency. Jae-hyuk, a worker who joined the plant despite having lost his father and brother to previous accidents there, chooses to return to the crumbling station. He risks his life to prevent a national radioactive disaster while the surrounding community falls into panic.

This action drama was directed and written by Park Jung-woo, following his 2012 film Deranged. The movie features a cast including Kim Nam-gil, Kim Joo-hyun, Kim Myung-min, Lee Kyung-young, Kim Yeong-ae, and Jung Jin-young. Produced by Next Entertainment World and CAC Entertainment, the project had a budget of 14 million USD and earned 30 million USD at the worldwide box office.
