Gun Shy

Turk Henry is a former rock star who travels to Chile for a vacation with his wife, a supermodel. During the trip, his wife is kidnapped by pirates who demand a ransom. Although Henry is willing to pay the money, government officials prevent him from complying. Forced to act on his own, a man who has spent his life avoiding responsibility must find a way to rescue his wife.

The film was directed by Simon West and is the tenth of 14 films in his career, released after Stratton and before Skyfire. Based on a novel by Mark Haskell Smith, the screenplay was written by Smith and Toby Davies. The cast is led by Antonio Banderas and Olga Kurylenko, with supporting roles played by Mark Valley and Martin Dingle Wall.
