Mist & the Maiden

Two Civil Guard investigators travel to the Canary Island of La Gomera to reopen a homicide investigation. Years earlier, the body of a young man was discovered in a forest, and although a local politician was initially accused, he was eventually acquitted due to a lack of evidence. Alongside a corporal who was among the last to see the victim alive, the investigators search for the killer while navigating local corruption and secret relationships.

The film was written and directed by Andrés M. Koppel. The cast features Quim Gutiérrez, Verónica Echegui, Aura Garrido, Roberto Álamo, Marian Álvarez, and Sanny van Heteren. Produced in Spain by Atresmedia, Tornasol Films, and Hernández y Fernández PC, the movie blends elements of crime, drama, mystery, and thriller over a 100-minute runtime.
